Patricia Robinson MFT
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I specialize in helping clients improve their relationships, whether that's within the family, at school, or at work. I am especially interested in working with individuals with Asperger's, autism and other ASDs, and ADHD. I work with individuals of all ages, families, parents, and couples.
As a Coach, I focus on professional and practical issues, things like employment and job interviews, social issues at work, as well as general social skills topics like managing eye contact, small talk, meeting people, dating, and romantic and sexual relationships. Many of my coaching clients are professional individuals with Asperger's, autism or ADHD. Others don't have a diagnosis, but may be struggling with executive functioning, organization or social issues. I also work extensively with young adults, transitioning teens, college students and new graduates. As a former Engineer, I’ve been trained to solve problems and I have a unique perspective on therapy. We can work together to deal with difficult and longstanding patterns. Or, if you prefer, we can come up with simple solutions to your current problems. I have unique ways of understanding and working with emotions, ways that make sense to those of you who don’t want to listen to psychobabble, but who just want to improve your lives.
